Lake Toba is a huge caldera lake which is over 100km long and 30km wide. Not only is it the largest lake in Indonesia, it is the largest Volcanic Lake in the world. It was the site of a massive supervolcanic eruption that occurred 69,000 to 77,000 years ago, representing a climate-changing event. At 640 square kilometres (247 sq mi), Samosir is the largest island within an island, and the fifth largest lake island in the world. It also contains two smaller lakes, Lake Sidihoni and Lake Aek Natonang.

DAY 1 : SILANGIT – LAKE TOBA
arrival at silangit international airport, welcome by lake toba travel. stop at hutaginjang to see the extraordinary view of lake toba. lunch at local restaurant. after lunch depart for parapat lake toba. stop at taman eden 100 to see the tropical plantations. arrive at parapat lake toba check in to hotel . dinner and overnight at parapat.
DAY 2 : LAKE TOBA – SAMOSIR TOUR – LAKE TOBA
after breakfast at hotel, then cruise lake toba by ferry boat for about 45 minutes. visit tomok village to see the ancient tomb of king sidabutar, then visit ambarita village to see the famous stone chairs and execution place of king siallagan (only for groups of minimum 10 persons). back to parapat. transfer to local restaurant for lunch. after lunch tour continues visit surrounding parapat tourist objects as soekarno house , indonesia first presiden exile. visit marsuse to see monkeys rehabilitation center. back to the hotel, where you will be having dinner.
DAY 3 : LAKE TOBA - BALIGE
breakfast at hotel then depart for balige . enjoy the nice view from parapat to balige. upon arrival at balige visit balige traditional market . lunch at local restaurant . after lunch visit silalahi centre and sisingamangarajaxii grave (indonesia national hero) . stop at toba art for buying t shirt and souvenirs . check in to hotel and have some rest. afternoon visit bul bul beach and tiara bunga view from oppu herti hotel . back to hotel . dinner and overnight at balige .
DAY 4 : BALIGE - SILANGIT
breakfast at hotel, then free and easy until transfer to airport for your next destination. tour end.
